What we mean by 'energy sensitive'

Have you ever wondered what people are talking about when they say someone is 'sensitive' to energy? Let's dive in.

By definition everyone is 'sensitive to energy'. We are all physically made of what is considered energy, i.e. 'matter'. We all have mass (some more than others, of course). The majority of us can press against an object with our fingers, resulting in our brains perceiving pressure on the skin. Newton's third law is observed as follows: when we press against the object, the object exerts a force back towards our fingers. This is your usual 3D sensory input. What about 'extrasensory' input? This would include clair-voyance/audience/cognizance etc. And people like me have a slightly vaguer physical sense in their body, which some call clairsentience. That's what we'll be looking at below.

Recently I checked the link I'd sent for a group Zoom call was working, and waited for others to join me. Naturally we quickly landed in conversation about how unusually 'interesting' 2024 has been for many of us! After making some comments about how we were all brought together here for a reason, and how we are all moving to the locations in the world we need to be at, one lady mentioned her own sense of 'shivers down the spine' at what I'd been saying. She is energy sensitive and the feeling of the truth of what was being discussed was perceived as a sensation in the body beyond the simple agreement

Some of you are already very sensitive to energy and will resonate with this. Others are likely developing a greater awareness of their body and are starting to become a bit more aware of the way their body gives feedback when they are following their excitement -- and when they are not. My advice is to take note of any times when you feel very 'off' just after you decide to take a future action.

As you develop a greater sense of trust and respect for the way the universe works, you may start to feel strong shivers in the spine or elsewhere when something 'feels true'. I now use this to guide me when working with others. When I think of something to say that is important for others to hear I frequently shudder or feel like shivering. It's a little cue I've noticed that helps me to have confidence that this thought really wants to be expressed. From choosing to be open to sensations that can be felt in my body and allow my heart and mind to interpret them together, I've added this subtle but helpful intangible ability to back up my logical toolkit.

All is of the same energy, I invite you to welcome in the support that will help you develop your abilities.

If you are called to do so, try this affirmation, spoken or thought, at the start and end of the day, particularly when you are tired:

"I open my mind to interpret the messages shared by my body. I trust my heart and mind to make me aware of what is important and helpful in my life"

As with all mantras and affirmations, be careful not to use it if it doesn't resonate i.e. if you don't think it makes sense. If it feels good and makes sense to you, repeat it and feel the benefit.

From my heart to yours, wishing you a good day. Thanks for reading!
