Channeled book on self-love

They've really surprised me with this one...

An addition to set the scene: I sit at my bright pink macbook, feeling the energy swirling. They - my guides - have something to share. Their comments are in speech marks, and my thoughts in our dialogue are in normal font. The below is unedited, and was completed in one sitting on 20th January.

So, who do we have in the ether today?

“Sirians, Lyrans, Arcturians and Andromedans, as always, are present. We have some Pleiadian presence also, but we are not the most prominent.”

Could all be made up, but perhaps it’s all true. Can you prove that you’re real?

“Can you?”

Touché! That’s a good one. I can’t.

“Well, perhaps at last we have agreement to continue. Have some faith.”

I’ll have some faith in you, if you promise to do so with me.

“We always do. Let’s begin. This is a book about you. It’s about your choices, what you can choose to do right now. It’s not a book about the past, nor the future. It’s about what happens as you read the words on the page. This is not a long book, it is a mini-book. It’s a template for a longer story, which we encourage every individual human who reads it to ponder and expand into their own preferred narrative.”

Is this something like a preview of my other work?

“It is a work in of itself. Do not be concerned about the form nor content. Don’t worry about the styling or spelling mistakes. Just worry … less.”

Aye-aye, captains.

“As you request, we’ll offer a little more specific information about who has gathered for this particular transmission. We’d prefer that you use certain words as they hold frequencies that are helpful in conveying the messages. So, yes, this is a transmission. It has a start, and end and exists for the reader in the now as we have stated. While there is a clear narrative in our words, a storyline you can identify, we do not request for you to superimpose elements of it into your life. Your lives. Your stories. Instead think about the way certain elements resonate, and how they offer a new or refined perspective for your addressing your own concerns.”

So far so good. This seems to make enough sense. What is the content of this short book, then?

“We are going to focus significantly on…”

Drum roll please?

“Dum-dum-dum-dum… Yes, we wish we could supply this, but you’ll have to add the percussion in your own minds. We are going to focus on self-love. This probably isn’t a profound surprise to you. Especially as the one writing the words had an interesting realisation before writing it: life isn’t actually that bad now. The circumstances may not change that much, but once you have a stronger association and anchoring of self-love and acceptance, you may find your life more beautiful. Let us be clear: this is not going to be a panacea. You are not going to wake up in permanent bliss. While those experiences exist, they are atypical. If you feel truly drawn to pursue them you can. But there’s a huge amount of risk in following the right thing - the risk is simply of ending up getting exactly what you want.”

You had me confused for a moment. I appreciate the humour.

“You are welcome young human, with an old enough soul to collect some cobwebs…”

I’ve been through the rounds, so I’ve heard. How does it help others to be aware of my journey?

“You are part of the subject matter. You, as the writer of this message, this transmission, are offering your own energy throughout. This is precisely as intended. It is part of the plan that was in place from before your time incarnating.”

I wasn’t really planning to write a book in quite this way, but if that’s the purpose of this little trip, in part…

“Yes, do keep comfortable. We are planning to use time sparingly. You need not spend too long on it, in one go. But we’d be delighted to share the message in full. And we’d deeply appreciate it if you do decide to share it more widely. It will be written in 3 parts. The first is concerned with understanding the perception of the self. It is in the second part that we start to unpack the limitations you’ve placed on yourself. And in the third part we address what change looks like in the present moment. It is a remarkable thing to create miracles.”

“Let us continue. Please place your pens and pads down for a moment and just absorb what is written. There is no need for notes, there is no need to record or digest this in a prescribed way. Let’s consider who you are.”

“Your self - that which you think of as self - is a very small portion of your overall consciousness. You can imagine consciousness itself as a fountain that has many sections. The water trickles down gently from the top of the fountain and becomes redirected into small subsections. There are divisions and re-mergings of the spurts of water that come in from the top.” (“Yes, please do leave your words as they are, excepting spelling / typos.”)

“The way in which these fountains share the essential lessons and desires is simply the same as in other aspect of creation. The consciousness finds its way to where it needs to be. The attention is always directed to that which needs it. The attention of the mind is placed where the lessons must be found . Humans do not like to consider this. Humans would prefer to have a greater sense of control. While it is possible to have as much primacy and independence as you might perceive fitting, would you prefer to have lesss or more life? A controlled life, with no adventure nor deviation, is not for everyone. Many wish to have excitement. Many wish to grow. And the one writing the words understands the different perspectives available on this topic. We would encourage you to consider exactly where you are in this moment. Note the ground beneath your feet and the ceilings or skies above you.”

It feels like there’s going to be a lot of breaks to create this.

“This is part of the lesson for you, dear one. And for those witnessing the process and the work. Part of the process is very much to understand how the mind takes on a role, the body is filled with energy according to your preferred mode of living, and the body will tire and need to recharge.”
